Renée's love of photography started out with a passion for art. Her first camera was purchased to photograph images of artwork for magazine publications, and other artwork for sale. This then progressed into photographing nature and wildlife to use for personal artistic inspiration in her own designs.

Being a nature and wildlife lover, Renée's passion for observing and photographing the great outdoors quickly consumed her. For a few years the camera took precedence over the paint brush.
In the past year Renee has started to combine her love for both worlds - Art & Photography. She has switched from traditional art methods of drawing, and painting with acrylics and oils, to digital art and mixed media using Photoshop and the professional artist program, Corel Painter X.
Many of Renee's new pieces involve multiple layers of various nature and wildlife photographs that have been merged into one work of art. The piece is then digitally painted...pixel by pixel. It is not unusal for a single piece to take several hours or days to complete.
After viewing her gallery I am sure you will see that her eye for composition, and creative eye for design shine through in her nature photographs and digital art creations.
If you're looking for Renée you'll probably find her roaming around the 100+ acres of woods and trails out her back door...and she's most likely playing with her Chickadee friends again ;o)
